Freddy Walsh is a Dublin-born guitarist, drummer, and composer. After working for several years with renowned classical guitarist Michael O’Toole, Freddy has taken to introducing new listeners to the music of classical greats and modern composers. His performances consist of an amalgamation of old and new, resulting in a unique experience for the audience. His studies have continued, and Freddy is currently studying jazz guitar with Irish jazz great Tommy Halferty.
A Feis Ceoil winner and music graduate of Waterford I.T and Maynooth University, Freddy has performed in venues such as Garter Lane Arts Centre, Christ Church Waterford, The Unitarian Church on St. Stephen’s Green and St. Anne’s Church, Dublin.
Freddy is also a tutor of guitar, percussion, and composition, teaching in various locations and schools around Leinster, including the U2 funded Music Generation scheme.
